Mobile computing and its benefits

Mobile computing is a general terminology  used to describe one's ability to use technology while moving, in contrast to portable computers, which are stationery in configuration.

The basic requirement for Mobile computing involves wireless technology to support outdoor mobility and a hand over from one person to the next at a pedestrian or vehicular speed. For example, A traveler in a vehicle using laptop which is connected to internet via GSM phone is involved in mobile computing. Mobile computing technology allows the mobile employee or any worker for that matter to: (a) acess; (b) create; (c) process; (d) store; and (e) communicate information to and fro without being limited to a single location.
