Recruitment

Gadget Access is growing! And to support the needs of our team and provide a valuable consulting service to the may recruiters we have worked with globally, we are setting up a recruitment consultancy offering to global recruiters.

Why?

Because the team at GadgetAccess.com been offering assistance to recruiters, brand managers and marketing companies ad-hoc for more than a decade  and with the advent of our new Social Media & Brand Management business, we are constantly encountering the need for a recruitment service.  We have recently launched a range of new directories and websites to support our aims of helping grow communities around technology.

Does this mean you'll become a standalone recruitment agency?

No! The GadgetAccess.com site is non-profit technology group - While we'd like to be able to continue to link people in technology with people that need good staff - we can do this best by working with existing global recruiters.  Not surprisingly, the best people at identifying good technology candidates, opportunities, and connecting the two through strong social media ties are people who have worked extensively in the same industry at the coalface of employment and business operations - not many of the recruiter's own coalface teams.

So why get stuck into Recruitment?

One of the things I find interesting as the founder of a number of online and offline business networking groups is that many recruiters don't yet seem to understand the power of relationships and the old concept of 'givers gain' - If they did, we'd see them at the networking events, contributing to the proceedings in exchange for the group's support in talent searches.    This week alone I've received about 50 emails from recruiters around the world asking whether I can help them fill a technology role.  Similarly I've had dozens of resumes from people looking for work from around the globe.

Now while these often aren't a good match given it's a global initiative, and the people crazy enough to actually email me a resume rather than hit me up on LinkedIn often don't know me that well... it's time that this process starts to support the core aims of this site - and so that the resumes that land on my desk can get a proper treatment without sending our writing team broke.

So! What are you proposing?

Two things.

1. GadgetAccess Recruitment Consulting (Retained Consulting to Global Recruiters)

Our team have just formed a new group called "Boss In A Box" - which already has a following on LinkedIn.  If any recruiters would like to partner a team of senior technology business leaders with decades of combined experience in hiring and managing staff - working under the banner of a benevolent community organisation (ie not showing up as a recruitment agency on social networking profiles!) - We're available to assist you in finding, selecting and approaching the perfect candidates for technical roles.  We will take on your recruitment firm for a fixed retainer each month - Starting from just $99/m (this includes online searches and social media research - 2hrs).   So for the price of lunch in the city each month, you can have experience and savvy on your team.  If you'd like to discuss exclusive options for a city or more extensive involvement in your searches, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Subscribe below to our online recruitment agency consulting package NOW - Just $99/m

2. Boss In A Box - The Management Directory

A site where management can offer their services on contract or on a full-time-basis to site participants and recruiters.  The GFC has displaced a significant number of middle managers and business leaders - Many of whom have a lot they can offer to smaller businesses.  Why not provide a link between these otherwise idle managers and SMEs - Everyone wins.

If you have any concepts you would like to discuss, don't hesitate to get in contact, or drop us a link via LinkedIn. The network expands every minute at the moment.

Cheers

Andy C - Gadget Access Founder.
